Heidi M. Pineda (she/her/ella) is a Residential Learning Programs Graduate Assistant at Michigan State University and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration. Previously, she was the inaugural DE&I Career Ambassador Program Coordinator at the University of Connecticut Center for Career Development, where she created resources and facilitated programming that explored the intersections of career and identity, with a specific focus on Latinx identities. For two years of her undergraduate career, she was President of the student organization DAMAS (Distinguished and Motivated Academic Scholars), through which she focused on supporting the academic achievement and professional development of her members. She is a strong advocate for equitable access to resources that aid in a student’s success and centers this in her work.
