Heinz Alfredo Fernandez
Heinz Alfredo Fernandez currently works as a Consultant for the Office of Appreciative Education at Florida Atlantic University, teaching students and professionals of all levels the Appreciative Education framework. He has previously worked as an Academic Advisor, where he worked with Undecided majors on discovering their dreams and passions in order to find their career of interest. He also worked as one of the First-Generation Academic Advisors on his campus, helping first-generation students navigate the collegiate experience. Heinz has been in a plethora of roles in higher education in the last five years, and he continues to seek new ways to assist students in reaching their potential so that they may reach their academic and professional goals. Heinz is a First-Generation student of Cuban descent and is currently a doctoral student in the Higher Education Leadership program at Florida Atlantic University, while also pursuing a second masters in Organizational Management & Communications at Florida State University.
