Zain Khawaja

Zain Khawaja is a first-year medical student at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). His interests include medicine, financial markets, and public policy. Outside of medical school, he is involved with basic science and public health research. He serves on the board of a New Jersey nonprofit, with the goal of increasing education and career opportunities for underrepresented and marginalized Newark youth. He currently interns for a venture capital firm, and previously worked for a New York City investment bank as a Fixed Income summer analyst. Eventually, Zain hopes to get involved with public policy to serve as an advocate for the future patients he will serve. Zain is a graduated from CWRU with a degree in economics in 2021, and is a native of Cleveland, Ohio.
