About

Latinx students are the second largest group within higher education institutions. The LLC was created to advance the leadership development and knowledge-base of Latinx students, advisors, and their allies by providing a venue that provides resources and skills needed to facilitate social action in their respective campuses. Our conference will consist of experiential workshops and dynamic keynote sessions that will allow students to tap into their untapped potential and be affirmed in their Latinx identity.

Our learning outcomes, at each conference, will always be to raise awareness, increase knowledge, and develops skills related to being a Latinx agent of social change. At the conclusion of our conference, we will provide students and advisors the opportunity to develop un plan de accion (i.e. action plan) with other colleges and universities to implement initiatives and/or programs that promote the overall wellbeing of the Latinx community.
